Stephanie Doerksen, Acupuncture (Locum)

Stephanie’s passion is supporting women during pregnancy and the transition to motherhood. She believes that new mothers deserve the best care possible and that no one should have to go through such a challenging time without all kinds of support.

Stephanie is a Registered Acupuncturist and member of the Obstetrical Acupuncturist Association. She feels privileged to work alongside the midwives at Pacific Midwifery Clinic and is looking forward to joining Elements Wellness during Alyssa’s maternity leave. Although the main focus of her practice is pregnancy and post-partum care, Stephanie treats all types of women’s health issues including menstrual regulation, menopause symptoms, fibromyalgia, and musculo-skeletal pain.

Stephanie received her acupuncture diploma from the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver, BC after leaving her first career as an architect. Since then she has discovered a passion for helping people feel their best and truly believes that taking care of your health can lead to a fuller, happier life. After having two children of her own she discovered the power of acupuncture to support a healthy pregnancy and birth, and began studying with some of the leaders in this field to expand her knowledge.
