Lynda Soberanes, Msc, RD

Lynda Soberanes is a Registered Dietitian with the College of Dietitians of BC and a member of the Dietitians of Canada. She completed her BSc in Human Nutrition and Food Science in Mexico, and had the opportunity to start her private practice as well as some teaching opportunities, work, and volunteering in hospitals and clinics. In 2010, she moved to Vancouver to start her MSc in Human Nutrition at UBC. After finishing, she has been working at UBC in nutrition research projects and in private practice.

She has had the opportunity to work with children and adults all ages and with many health conditions such as overweight/obesity, diabetes, gastrointestinal problems, etc. She has a research-based practice and deeply cares about each one of her patients. And as every Mexican, she is happy to have a couple of tacos here and there, as part of her healthy diet. She is able to provide the nutrition consultation in English or Spanish.
