Marianna Silanteva, RMT
Marianna Silanteva is a graduate from Utopia Academy in Vancouver, where she completed the 3000-hour Massage and Hydrotherapy RMT program. During her training, she participated in numerous outreach programs, providing massage in rehabilitation and hospital facilities for pre- and postnatal women, the elderly and people with special needs.
Marianna has recently joined Elements Wellness Center & Studio to share her knowledge and experience in massage therapy and proudly apply it on practice.
She likes to take an individual approach in her treatments, and her focus is to find the right balance in addressing both my patient’s needs and wants. She sees herself as a health care professional who strives to guide her clients towards a happier and pain-free lifestyle, directly through the application of massage therapy and indirectly by encouraging and educating them on how to improve their health and wellness on a daily basis.
In her treatments, she uses techniques such as trigger point release, deep tissue, joint mobilizations, swedish, manual lymph drainage and active stretching. She also believes in the body’s natural healing abilities and facilitates this process by incorporating myofascial release and cranio-sacral therapy in her treatments.
In addition, she appreciates the power of hydrotherapy and uses its benefits to facilitate and enhance the effectiveness of applied techniques.
In her spare time she likes to practice yoga, read and explore beautiful British Columbia with her family and friends.
