Kiran Manhas, R.Ac.
Kiran Manhas’s passion for the practice of traditional Chinese medicine stems from her interest in looking at health and wellness from a holistic view. For Kiran, TCM provides the tools and perspective to engage with patients and help them examine all aspects of their lives in their quest to bring the body into a balanced state of wellbeing.
Born and raised in the small northern town of Terrace BC, Kiran has been lucky to grow up surrounded with the majestic beauty and healing energy of natural British Columbia. She has lived in the Lower Mainland since 1999, and has graduated from BCIT with a Marketing and Tourism diploma. She also has a Bachelor of Business from La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia. Through travelling and working closely with the public, she has developed an enhanced ability to understand multiple perspectives and connect with a wide range of people, contributing to her current success as an Acupuncturist.
Kiran’s focus is to create a gentle treatment plan that is specific to each patient’s individual needs (young, elderly or individuals with special requirements). Kiran believes in helping people achieve their health goals in a collaborative way, and strives to work alongside her patients to educate and empower them to play an active role in their own self-care.
Kiran is currently a registered Acupuncturist and a member of The College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of British Columbia (CTCMA). She is a graduate of the three year Acupuncturist program at the International College of TCM in Vancouver BC.
