Hot Stone Massage

Hot stone massage is a Swedish massage using heated Basalt stones to warm the tissues of the body and promote deep relaxation. The stones are placed on specific points of the body to heat the tissues and stimulate blood circulation while the practitioner massages the rest of the body with the stones. Hot stone therapy can help reduce aches and pains ease tension and melt restrictive fascia. Perfect for a cold Vancouver day.

Shiatsu

Shiatsu is an acupressure massage technique that was developed in Japan. Its goal is to restore the natural, healthy flow of energy or “Qi” in the body. Energy paths or meridians are stimulated with finger, palm, elbow, knee and foot pressure, reducing stress and bringing rebalance to your body and mind. Shiatsu is great for relaxation, relieving back, neck and shoulder tension, improving muscle and joint function and for general well-being.
