Shanyn Erben, Nutritional ConsultantShanyn Erben is a Registered Nutritionist who graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in 2007. She has had her private consulting business located at Elements Wellness Centre since January 2007. She offers her clients guidance on making decisions about healthy nutrition, exercise and integrating or maintaining a balanced lifestyle. Special attention is paid to goal setting and motivation. Shanyn is trained and certified to operate the BioMeridian health assessment equipment. The simple test on the BioMeridian, an FDA-approved medical device, reads the electrical output of different acupuncture points on the hands and feet as they relate to different organs and organ systems. The information offered shows where stress and weakness reside in the body and suggests which nutrients as well as specific supplements would promote greater health. With the help of a BioMeridian Assessment Shanyn can identify nutritional support specific to your body’s needs. Shanyn has also been a certified NAET practitioner since 2007 when she studied with Dr. Devi Nambudripad at her Los Angeles Pain Clinic. NAET (Nambudripad’s Allergy Elimination Technique) is a pain-free and natural way to eliminate allergies by using a technique Dr. Devi developed with her knowledge of Traditional Chinese Medicine, chiropractic health and Western medicine. Shanyn’s practice has seen great success for many different clients with lasting relief of their allergy symptoms. Shanyn completed the Reflexology course at the Canadian Pacific Reflexology Institute in October of 2009 and has been making feet happy and bodies healthy ever since using this ancient healing technique. Shanyn was certified as a BCRPA Fitness Leader and BCRPA Personal Trainer in 2006. Although she does not train clients anymore, she has a broad knowledge base in fitness from her professional training as well as her 18 years of personal fitness training goals. Shanyn completes the Sun Run yearly, weight lifts, skis, hikes, bikes and trains in martial arts. She recently won gold and bronze medals at the 2010 World Karate Championship in Trinidad.
