Erin Pierson RMTErin is a graduate of the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in New Westminster. She is a member of both the College of Massage Therapists and Massage Therapy Association of BC. Erin has experience treating conditions of all kinds including but not limited to overuse syndromes, athletic injuries, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s, fibromyalgia, whiplash, frozen shoulder, tension headaches, arthritis, carpal tunnel, general muscle imbalances and pre and post natal massage. Her style of massage includes Swedish, trigger point release, deep tissue, fascial work, joint mobilizations, muscle energy and other active rehabilitation techniques, always working within the limits of the body’s tissue. If it’s a relaxation massage you want, Erin can accommodate that as well. Each treatment is uniquely designed to accommodate patient needs. Over the course of a massage Erin makes certain her patients are comfortable and enjoying their treatment. Erin first encountered Massage Therapy as a teenage volleyball player recovering from a broken fibula (the small lower leg bone). To aid in her rehabilitation, an RMT was recommended by her family doctor. Noticing improvements after each treatment, she began to recognize the inherent value of Massage Therapy. Since then, Massage Therapy has played a key role of her life, ultimately leading her to a rewarding career. |
