Darcy Wynnychuk, Certified Bodyworker

Darcy started off as a Personal Trainer and studied Exercise Science. While training full time his body started to break down and needed some physical rehabilitation. That's when he discovered the healing power of massage and decided to move his career into the healing arts.

After doing a Remedial Certificate in massage, he experienced his first Kahuna Lomi Lomi and it opened him to whole new understanding of the bodymind connection. A perfect combination of spiritual and physical work. The massage is given in fluid, rhythmic motion using the forearms as well as the hands. Some people have described this as feeling like gentle waves moving over the body. He went on to complete his Hawaiian Lomi Lomi training in Australia.

He then moved back to New Zealand to open his own practice. Having run a successful clinic for five years It was time to upgrade his skills. Since then he has studied Thai massage in Bangkok and completed his Yoga teacher training in India.

He is now a BodyTalk practioner and loves using this modality that combines his years of experience into one healing system. BodyTalk stimulates the body's innate ability to balance and heal itself on all levels. Reconnecting these lines of communication enables the body's internal mechanisms to function at optimal levels, thus repairing and preventing disease while rapidly accelerating the healing process.
